Cake 

 If the cake batter is thick, add milk in place of water as it  will taste good.

Blend the cake batter in one direction only to avoid lumps.

 Never use a year old baking powder.

Preheat oven for 10 minutes same as desired for cake.

If you are making dry fruits cake,sprinkle little maida over dry fruits before putting into batter,as it will not reach the lower level of the cake.
